King Cake tasting planned for new year

Pass Christian residents are invited to celebrate King Cake Season at the Randolph Center on Thursday, January 15, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The morning of sweet fun will include a sampling of king cakes and king cake-inspired treats from bakeries all along the Coast.

The event is free, but monetary or canned good donations are appreciated to support the Community Food Pantry and Gone Fishing Ministries.

Organizers remind those who may be trying to uphold new year’s resolutions that “King Cake calories don’t count!”
